Trade Middle Office Associate Beijing HSBC China

Key Responsibilities:
  • To process trade transactions accurately and efficiently and ensure the logistics arrangement in GTRF Services to achieve GTRF Services service standard.
  • To meet internal/external customer requirements and deliver outstanding trade and bank acceptance draft related customer service.
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (e.g. FIMs, internal circulars, guidelines) and external regulatory requirements in daily operation.
  • To work collaboratively with Trade Sales, GB, CMB, FIN, GM, local banks and regulatory institutions to guarantee a smooth transaction processing.
  • To ensure compliance with RSM objective.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills (in English and local language).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in trade operations, trade client services and/or related functions.
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and also collaboratively with other team members.
  • CDCS (for traditional trade) or CSDG (for guarantee) certification is desirable.

Trade Middle Office Assistant Shanghai HSBC China

Key Responsibilities:
  • To process applications for issuance/amendments of guarantees and is responsible for first checking of the contents to ensure that all clauses and conditions incorporated are acceptable to the bank, referring and deviation or clearance to superior.
  • To handle other miscellaneous tasks including:collection and tracing for issuance commission from customers
  • Preparation of various returns
  • To keep abreast of all local rules and regulations credit guidelines etc and make sure that the operations are complied with internal and external requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Strongly prefer CPA holder (Certified Public Accountant) and having solid accounting/auditing background.
  • Strong independent working ability. Accept to work under challenge and pressure.
  • Very strong professional judgment ability to identify key point in an effective and efficient way.
  • Very strong English oral and writing skills, and communication skills to face various stakeholders.
  • Be familiar with handling multiple tasks and strong ability to understand priority.
  • Quick learner who can be independent work within 1 month.7. Familiar with various systems using by client (SAP, Oracle, etc).

Key Responsibilities:
  • The creation of the Client Management Group is the latest step in making HSBC a more client focused, faster moving bank, better able to grow profitably. This new closer collaboration between teams simplifies the way we work, and supports the implementation of global standards.
  • Client Management Group is responsible for supporting Global Banking Relationship Managers in global client onboarding and the on-going management & oversight of due diligence activities through the full client lifecycle with HSBC on behalf of Global Banking & Markets both as a customer group and product provider.
  • Providing the single point of contact for customer due diligence renewal activities across the China Client Management Group location (at a Country, Sector or Sub-sector level depending on the scale of the operation within the operating location).
  • Co-ordination of client renewal and off-boarding activity on behalf of the GBM Relationship Managers aligned to clients requirements.
  • Being accountable for working closely with all functional teams (Credit due-diligence, Client Documentation Negotiation, KYC & Client Identification Due-Diligence, Entity Maintenance & Account Maintenance) to ensure priorities are aligned and deadlines can be met across the end to end process.

Qualifications:
  • Strong business knowledge and a working knowledge of corporate banking clients and products that are utilised but with the ability to gather SME’s when required to fill the skill gaps.
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory requirements and KYC standard.
  • Commercially aware – understands the drivers behind the KYC requirement and the value to the bank of what is being requested and uses this knowledge to proactively manage the prioritisation, enabling function to align and deliver their activities.
  • University graduate with excellent client service skills (must have minimum of 2 years of service in a client facing role).
  • Investment banking knowledge / experience is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of legal structures of various client types: financial institutions, corporate, funds, SPV's etc. (G29Investment Banking knowledge / experience is an advantage).
  • Must be detail-conscious and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities.
  • Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and the use of Internet Search Engines.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
