The roll should be part of the dynamic support organization responsible to support a full range of Global Market applications and to ensure a stable and resilient production environment for the business and operations.

Key Responsibilities:   
  • To be locally responsible for support and to ensure Global Market & ALMT applications run to maximum efficiency
  • Provide support to users to enable them to achieve their objectives through using the system in the most effective
  • To review local business requirements and write specifications, in order to make regional IT teams perform requested enhancements in systems or in order to complete regional IT developments when necessary.
  • To have a good understanding of business plans by a close liaison with the heads of business, in order to anticipate related IT plans
  • To be responsible for integration testing and to contribute to smooth implementation of global/regional releases or new modules for the Fixed Income and Treasury product line in China, coordinating with regional teams, dealers and non-trading users. This includes training if necessary.
  • To project-manage Global Market & ALMT implementation projects on a case by case basis in liaison with regional Global Market & ALMT IT and to accordingly document the respective implementation steps.
  • Investigation and resolution of Global Market & ALMT IT system problems :
    • By identifying the problem and proceed to the problem log
    • By addressing the issue in liaison with Regional Global Market & ALMT IT
    • By documenting the resolution of the problem and ensure proper posting into incidents system management (Service Now / JIRA)
  • To provide early morning support for Global Market / ALMT applications at the local level
  • Must be business oriented and have skills in financial instruments & markets.
  • To be responsible for China Business Continuity Process & DR.
  • Contribute for implementing audit recommendations as per the agreed timeline

Key Requirements:
  • A background in banking, and more specifically in Global Market
  • Proven track record in maintenance & support of business critical applications while realizing operational efficiencies
  • Good understanding of change, incident & problem management methodologies
  • Familiarity with approaches & procedures of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery
  • Good understanding of IT risk and security
  • Must possess and display strong verbal and written communication skills (English & Chinese)
  • Able to remain professional and tactical in stressful situations
  • Analytical, intuitive, and a strong problem-solver
  • Strong team player
  • Strong knowledge in Excel macro
  • Programming and Shell scripting
  • Intermediate RDBMS knowledge
  • Functional knowledge of SQL + ability to write SQL database script
  • Practical knowledge of change, incident & problem management tools
  • Trouble shooting and problem solving
