Word to your mother.并不是对妈妈说什么话，也不是在骂人。
而是表示觉得你说的话很对，完全赞同你的说法。
你说得对，你说的是事实。

例句：

That pizza tastes so good!

那个披萨真好吃！
完全同意！

Shall l be mother?

“Shall l be mother?”的意思是喝水吗、吃东西吗。在英国，家里来客人了，是由母亲倒茶上菜。所以当你做客去别人家，听到主人对你说“Shall I be mother?”，是一种客气的表达，让你喝水吃东西。

例句：

The tea's ready. Shall I be mother?
茶准备好了，喝点吗？

at your mother's knee

at your mother's knee字面意思是在妈妈的膝盖上。
我们小时候就经常被妈妈抱在怀里，坐在妈妈的膝盖上。
所以at your mother's knee意思是年幼时、小时候。

mother hen是母鸡的意思。

like a mother hen是形容太过于保护孩子、总是担心孩子。

表示母亲有几个孩子，可以用mother of one/two/...，不需要加kid或child。
几个孩子的父亲同理，是father of one/two/...

例句：

Janet既是全职教师，也是两个孩子的母亲。
