股票期权指买方在交付权利金后，取得在约定时间以约定价格买入或卖出约定数量相关股票的权利。一般是上市公司给予企业员工的激励，持有者可按约定价格直接向公司购买未发行在外的流通股，而非从二级市场购买。
Stock options refer to the buyer's right to buy or sell an agreed number of related stocks at an agreed price at an agreed time after paying the premium. It is generally an incentive given by a listed company to its employees. Holders can directly purchase unissued shares from the company at an agreed price instead of buying from the secondary market.
